Fundamentals of AI engineering with Angular
Angular as a framework already provides a strong structure and clear conventions. But by integrating AI agents, you can take your development work to a new level. In this first module, you'll get to know the fundamentals of agent-driven development and learn how this approach can be applied specifically to Angular projects. We'll start by setting up your development environment and integrating specialized coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Tabnine or dedicated AI tools optimized for Angular into your IDE.
It gets particularly exciting once we dive into practical application: you'll learn how to formulate effective prompts to generate high-quality Angular code. We'll show you how AI agents can support you in creating components, implementing services and optimizing RxJS streams. Throughout, we always take Angular best practices and the Angular Style Guide into account. You'll be surprised how quickly you can implement complex functionality with the right prompting strategy, without falling into the typical traps of AI code generation.
Intelligent architecture and testing with AI support
One of the biggest challenges in Angular projects is planning and implementing a scalable architecture. In this module, we'll show you how AI agents can support you in architectural decisions. You'll learn how to develop modularization strategies with the help of AI, select state management solutions and weigh up different approaches such as NGRX, NGXS or simple services.
A special focus is on testing: we'll demonstrate how AI agents can help you write comprehensive unit tests for components and services, plan integration tests and create end-to-end tests with Cypress or Playwright. You'll see how AI identifies typical edge cases that you might not have thought of. Through practical exercises, you'll practice implementing test-driven development (TDD) with AI support, which noticeably improves the quality of your Angular applications.
Advanced techniques and production readiness
In this advanced module, we go beyond the basics and explore how AI agents can help with more complex challenges. You'll learn how to identify and implement performance optimizations with AI support, optimize change detection strategies and implement lazy loading effectively. We'll also show you how AI agents can help you detect technical debt in existing Angular projects and reduce it systematically.
Integrating AI into the DevOps process is particularly valuable: you'll learn how to optimize CI/CD pipelines with agent-driven development, carry out automated code reviews and improve deployment strategies. By the end of this module, you'll understand how to integrate AI agents strategically into the entire development cycle – from initial planning through to long-term maintenance mode. We'll also discuss ethical aspects and best practices for the responsible use of AI in software development.

What you should know
For this course you should bring basic Angular knowledge. You should already have built an Angular application and be familiar with concepts such as components, services, dependency injection and the Angular CLI. Basic TypeScript knowledge is required. Experience with RxJS is helpful, but not strictly necessary. No specific prior knowledge of AI tools is required – we start with the basics of AI integration and work our way up to more complex use cases together. Bring your laptop with a working Angular development environment (Node.js, npm and Angular CLI installed).

Yes. We offer our Angular & Agentic AI Engineering seminars both remotely and on-site. Thanks to our virtual classroom, you can conveniently participate in our workshops from anywhere. Our online presentations are regularly updated, and you have permanent access after the training. Exercises can be accessed and unlocked through an online interface, and we have added additional tasks to prepare you for remote workshops.
We also offer in-house seminars and public trainings on-site. In our schedule overview, you can see the respective venue of the trainings. For in-house trainings, we are happy to discuss the venue details individually with you.
For public Angular & Agentic AI Engineering seminars, we use the online meeting tool Zoom alongside our classroom.
A test link is also included in the preparation to let you try out the technology. The remote workshop is designed so that everyone works from different locations with their own computer.
