In this hands-on training you'll master the complete path from your first containerization to a production Kubernetes deployment. You'll learn how to package your applications securely, roll them out automatically and scale them.

Your key takeaways:

  • Building containers: Writing Dockerfiles and building images for your applications
  • Deploying to production: Concepts for setting up and managing a Kubernetes cluster
  • Automation: Setting up CI/CD pipelines for error-free deployments
  • Scaling: Scaling applications up and down automatically
  • Monitoring: Logging and monitoring for stable services

After the training you'll be able to:

✅ Package your apps in containers and run them identically everywhere
✅ Operate Kubernetes clusters in production
✅ Eliminate "works on my machine" problems for good
✅ Fully automate your deployments
✅ Manage infrastructure as code

What you should know

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Linux, Bash, network technologies and Git are useful foundations for this workshop. You will also need a laptop running Windows, macOS or Linux.
